This policy explains how mawi.li handles information when you visit the website and use the AI Group Chat page. There is no account creation or login system inside AI Group Chat (desktop/web). Most data is stored locally on your device.

Hosting and server systems may automatically process standard technical data for security and performance (e.g., temporary IP processing, browser type, request time). This is used for security and troubleshooting, not marketing.
We may use cookies or local storage only for site preferences such as theme and language. You can delete them from your browser settings at any time.
chatAI Group Chat Privacy
Your chats are stored locally on your device (Local Storage/local files depending on the platform). We do not receive your chat history on mawi.li servers.
When using your own API keys, your messages may be sent directly from your device to the AI provider you choose for processing (e.g., OpenAI, Google, Anthropic). Their privacy policies apply.
API keys you enter in the app are stored locally on your device. Do not share them and use a trusted device.
downloadDownloads & File Verification
Downloads may be hosted on GitHub Releases. We provide SHA-256 checksums to help you verify file integrity before running.
securitySecurity & Retention
We retain contact and request information only as long as needed to respond and fulfill requests, then it may be archived or deleted based on legal/operational needs.
We use reasonable measures to protect information, but no online transmission or storage is 100% secure.
